SALES // HOLDAY SHOPPING DONE RIGHT

Forget malls.  Seriously.  Malls are for unsupervised pre-teens and old people in track suits.  Plus, if you go to the big stores you risk being trampled by folks all hopped up on Grand Slam’s from Denny’s.  This holiday season get gifts that count, gifts that you aren’t going to see on inserts in the local paper.  Plus, going outside the ordinary doesn’t mean you have to spend a bunch of money, in this economy everybody is having holiday sales.  So instead of padding the pockets of Corporate Fat Cats, here are some sales from the DIY world that are well worth checking out.  More sales to come, but thought this would be good enough for now.  Click on each flyer to be directly taken to the website.

ART // THE BEST GALLERY SHOW YOU ALREADY MISSED

White Walls Gallery gave FIFTY24SF a run for their proverbial urban art cash flow and put their foot down in the Bay Area art scene with a collab show between Deviant Decorum’s own hometown boy Mike Giant and another D.D. favorite, Usugrow. With the heavy graf and tattoo influences already present in their work and Mike’s upbringing in the southwest mixing with Usugrow’s Japanese roots, the artists black and white styles seamlessly melded together to create one of the best shows we missed this year.
